Today I'm reviewing another great Fit & Fresh product - the Fit & Fresh Lunch Set!

This big, roomy lunch box was perfect for my husband's lunch, with room to spare to include an afternoon snack. He had a very busy day at work, so he appreciated having healthy food readily available at his desk to eat so he could keep working. The thing I love most about this set is the ice pack - it sits like a shelf in the middle of the lunch box, so it can keep the food below and the food above it chilled. I made him a chef salad with turkey, egg, cheese, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, carrots and radishes. He also had raspberry yogurt for a snack. Here's the whole thing - it was a lot of food!

Now here's how I packed it all up:

On the bottom level is the salad - all the veggies went in here, plus a little love note made from cheese and grape tomatoes:

Here is the alphabet cutter set I used to cut out the cheese letters:

On top of that, I put the ice pack. I keep all my fit & fresh ice packs in a big zippered plastic bag in the freezer so they are easy to grab when I need to pack lunches.

Next came the salad toppings in one container, and the yogurt in another container. They fit securely on top of the ice pack.

This lunch box fit perfectly in an EasyLunchboxes Insulated Cooler Bag,. Hubby reports that his lunch stayed chilled all morning, even though it sat out on his desk. One thing to take note of - condensation forms on the ice pack after a while, so I generally stick to fruits and vegetables when I pack something in the lower level of this box. I wouldn't pack an unexposed sandwich, or anything else that might get soggy - save that for the top level, and wrap the sandwich in some waxed paper or plastic wrap.

I really like this Fit & Fresh lunch set, and so did my husband! There is plenty of room for a big lunch, and I think the price is really affordable. I think this will be used a lot in our family!
