I made this lunch for my son. He said he didn't mind that is was cute, since he'll be eating it at home :)
I was shopping for some fabric to make some new bento bags for my Etsy shop recently, and when I saw this adorable panda fabric, I knew I had to get out my CuteZCute cutter and make a panda lunch to go with it.
This lunch contains a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on homemade gluten free bread, along with grapes, strawberries, cucumber, and ranch dip in a Mini Dipper container ( shown below). I also tucked in some dried apricots, yogurt covered raisins, and a little polka dot sauce container that is also great for holding some medicine that my son needed to take along with his food.
This is the first time I used my new Goodbyn bento box. Did you know that they sell them at Target now? I have to say, I really love it! The sections are nice and deep, so it holds quite a bit of food. I like the cool blue color, too - it makes an ordinary lunch look very colorful and appetizing!
As for the panda bento bag, I have 2 of them available, along with several other new bento bags and other items right here in my Etsy shop, also called Beneficial Bento. Here's a little preview of the new bento bags:
And here are some other things I used to make this lunch:
